Anonymous IRC Websites Hacked

Anonymous IRC Websites Hacked

The situation around Sony and data theft is intense. Sony is doing everything possible to find responsible for those attacks and bring them to justice.

Two veterans of Anonymous have acknowledged that members of the cyber-activist group are likely to have been behind the recent hacking attacks on Sony, in spite of the groups official denials, according to Financial Times.

If you say you are Anonymous, and do something as Anonymous, then Anonymous did it, said the hacker, who uses the online nickname Kayla. Just because the rest of Anonymous might not agree with it, doesnt mean Anonymous didnt do it.

A former administrator of AnonOps.ru called Ryan was able to take down two websites AnonOps.net and AnonOps.ru which were used by the Anonymous hacker group to communicate with each other. He claims he`s got IP addressed and passwords of all IRC users including members of Anonymous group.

This means that those members of the Anonymous group, who did not use proxy servers to communicate over IRC channels, could be identified by their IP addresses.
